Gilboa, Amir

   Israeli poet. He was born in Radzywilow, Volhynia, and went to Palestine in 1937, where he worked initially as a labourer. He began to publish poetry while serving in the Jewish Brigade during World War II. Some of his poems concern biblical characters.
